Joe Galindo

Father of 4 Huck students, Mr. Joe grew up in a Spanish speaking home, but decided to major in Spanish at college to become seriously fluent!  He didn't feel like that did the trick though, so then he proceeded to live in several Spanish-speaking countries.  This is where his fluency took off!  He loves to share this beautiful language with other Huck students!

Spanish Conversations I

This three-part Spanish program guides students through a full year of language development, beginning with foundational speaking skills, expanding through real-world vocabulary and themes, and culminating in confident conversation and expression. Through engaging, interactive lessons, students build the ability to understand, speak, and apply Spanish in meaningful ways, growing in both confidence and communication skills over time.

Younger students are introduced to Spanish through repetition, movement, visuals, and play-based learning. Lessons focus on listening, speaking, and building confidence using simple words and short sentences. Activities include games, songs, guided speaking, and hands-on participation to support early language development.

Students are welcome to come back to class and work on their fluency!  More practice with building conversations and more advanced vocabulary build confidence in language acquisition!
